One of the longest-lived patrol squadron of our Navy.
It was my privilege and job to serve in VP-45 for 2 years while we were based down in Coco Solo, CZ (then moved to NS Bermuda in September, 1956.) We were flying the great old last of the seaplanes P5M, the Martin Marlin. I hope one day we'll be able to buy nice prints of that wonderful plane.
