I was one of the fortunate ones
To get to witness & help get the SR-71 in place for display at the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama. The Plane had to be hauled from Redstone Arsenal to its new resting spot at the Space & Rocket Center. SR71 was flown from the Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast for its last flight, which it set the timed speed record going Coast to Coast.
